The long-distance trail across Crete.

The European long-distance path E4 crosses Crete from Kissamos in the west to Zakros in the east, marked with yellow and black signs. It passes through all the major mountain ranges, the White Mountains, Psiloritis and Dikti, and along parts of the south coast.

The Cretan section is over 500 km long and can be walked in sections. Some of the most beautiful stretches are the coastal path between Sougia and Chora Sfakion and the crossing of the White Mountains.
