Airports on Crete

Heraklion (HER) is the main airport, in the middle of the north coast. Chania (CHQ) is on the Akrotiri peninsula in the west, and Sitia (JSH) in the east has a few flights.

Good to know

Book a few days ahead in July and August. Add your flight number when you book, so the driver can see when you land. Travelling with children? Ask for child seats in the booking form.
