Panigiria start the evening before the feast day: vespers in church, then food, music and dancing until late.

About
On 14 and 15 August the villages of Apokoronas celebrate one after another: Fres, Litsarda, Pemonia, Alikambos and Kefalas all hold two-night feasts with lyra and laouto players. People move from square to square and the dancing goes on until dawn.
