HappyHandyman is Gino, a Belgian tradesman who settled in Hersonissos and now looks after houses all along the north coast of Crete. He trained and certified in Belgium as a plumber, an electrician and a heating and cooling technician, and has more than twenty years of work behind him. So one visit can cover the leaking tap, the tripping fuse and the A/C that stopped blowing cold.
The idea behind the business is simple: owners from abroad often struggle to find someone reliable who explains things clearly and shows up when he says he will. Gino speaks English and Dutch, sends photos of what he finds, and works to the same safety rules he used back home. Small jobs are as welcome as a full bathroom or a complete renovation.
Urgent problems such as a burst pipe, no power or no hot water in the middle of a guest stay can be reported around the clock.

Service area
From the base in Hersonissos the service area runs along the north coast, from Agios Nikolaos, Elounda and Plaka in the east, through Malia, Gouves and Heraklion, to Agia Pelagia, Bali and Panormo near Rethymno in the west. Inland villages and the south, from the Messara plain to Ierapetra, are covered too, up to roughly 90 km or an hour and a half by car.
