Boat rental & yacht charters

From the water you reach beaches and coves that are hard to get to by road. Here you find boats to rent yourself and private charters with a crew, from many harbours around Crete.

• Boats without a licence. Small motorboats can often be rented without a boat licence. The rental company explains the boat, the rules and where you can go before you leave.
• With skipper or crew. On a private yacht or catamaran a skipper sails for you, so you can swim, snorkel and relax. Great for families and groups.
• Where to go. Popular trips go to Balos and Gramvousa in the west, the coves around Loutro in the south and Spinalonga in the east.
• Good to know. Wind and waves change the plans: in July and August the meltemi wind can be strong on the north coast. Book early for summer weekends.
